Private & NHS Consultations
I consult privately at the Nuffield Health Brighton Hospital, the Montefiore (Spire) Hospital in Hove, and the Nuffield Health Hayward's Heath Hospital.
My clinic times are shown below, but it is possible to arrange an appointment outside of these times by request. I appreciate that some patients, especially those with stones, can need urgent diagnosis and treatment.
I am happy to see any patient with an acute or long standing urological problem, but if I think that you maybe be better seeing a colleague with a certain sub-specialist interest, then I will pass you over directly to save wasted time.
The initial consultation is 30 minutes long and there is plenty of time to discuss matters. There is always a MacMillan Cancer nurse available if needed. Any subsequent appointments will last 15 minutes. Your consultation may include basic investigations such as urine flow rates and bladder scans, and you may in addition be referred for investigations such as CT, MRI or ultrasound scan. I am able to offer one stop investigation for many conditions, and this may include a local anaesthetic telescopic examination of your bladder (flexible cystoscopy).

I run on average two NHS clinics a week at the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton. 'Choose and book' maybe available at the Brighton Nuffield shortly, so it is worth mentioning to your GP when you see them. I perform 'Choose and Book' vasectomies at the Stanford Medical Centre.
